FISHER RS-Z1 PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL REFERENCE RECEIVER Picture and Description:
Well, i won't bore you with the statistics of this beauty, but for those who don't know much about this Receiver, its called : FISHER RS-Z1 PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL REFERENCE RECEIVER. I do not have a manual for this, you see i picked this up from a friend a couple of years ago, i went to visit and as i walked into his man cave i saw this beauty from afar and knew i liked the sound and especially the LOOK of this unit. a guy never has enough electronics. so i did what any guy would do and that was to bug the heck out of him until he sold it to me. the fisher z-1 reference works great a wonderfully warm and rich sound and it is built like a tank. It lights up like a christmas tree and if you win the bid on this beauty you won't be disappointed with its sound or looks. A lot of you out their know more about this Fisher than i do, i personally liked it's build quality. Not since the 1950's and 1960's has anything come from fisher. I like my toys and i have my eye on other pieces that i could not afford when i was younger. I really like vintage that is my bag! tubes tubes tubes. yes that is what i like and want. So i am auctioning off a very nice piece of history to someone like myself appreciates a well built goood looking and sounding piece of electronics. Okay, now the condition of this receiver, if you notice my feedback i have a 100% and i want you to relax and feel safe in your bidding because i will tell you everything about this unit. First of all if you look at the last photo #11 you will see a slight scuff or mar on the top of the lid. This is not a scratch, its not down to the metal as you can see, it was like this when i picked it up, but only shows when a bright light, like a camera flash goes off and your standing their looking for it. Their is on the left front top corner of the wood panel a slight scratch and i do mean slight scratch about a quarter inch down and it goes back about one inch if that. the last is inside the front glass are two very small (tiny)pieces of dust??? these were on it when i purchased and if their was a need i would have opened it up and possibly taken a Q-tip and gotten between the glass and gently wiped it off again this is also not scratched on the glass. it has played and still plays perfect. Also you have to look closely to see these slight marks or dust on the glass. Okay, lets talk about shipping, i have shipped in the past a vintage Fairchild tube amplifier a 260 out east from illinois and the buyer was impressed with the packaging also a macintosh 240 shipped safely and a marantz model 7 no problems. So i also can get this shipped to you safely. What i am asking you now that if you win the auction do not pay for it until i contact you with the correct shipping charges, the charges you will see under usps or ups will be incorrect. I only will charge you what i am charged. I am not in the shipping buisness, So BE Patient until i get this beauty packaged and get you lthe corrected shipping charges. This will save us both a headache just in case you pay either too much or too little for the shipping charges. so do not pay attention to them until i contact you OKAY!!! sorry about repeating myself. P.S. I apologize to you for the dust you see in photo #10 on the back of the unit when i had taken a picture of the serial number. Since that photo was taken i wiped this down i hate it when someone takes pictures of a good looking piece and hasn't got the respect for it to clean it off a little. good luck in bidding, Please, no buyers remorse, because of its age and not its condition, this unit is being sold as-is. If you have always wanted a RS-Z1 please bid, but please do not bid and waste my time and my bidders time. I ship only USPS or FEDEX. I do not ship UPS . International shipments i add $10.00 for the filling out of customs papers. Thank You!!! This is a reserve auction and i do not mind telling you the reserve is $850.00 . And if it doesn't sell , No problem!! i will wrap it in cloth and store it away for a few more years!
