FISHER KX-200 STEREO TUBE AMPLIFIER – 7591 – VERY CLEAN Picture and Description:
You are bidding on a Fisher KX-200 StrataKit Stereo Tube Amplifier. I've taken lots of photographs to show the inside and outside. The amplifier is in very good working condition All controls and tube sockets have been thoroughly cleaned (and cleaned) Tested on Tuner, Phono, Aux Necessary capacitors replaced Chassis is very clean Low starting bid The amplifier has been fully tested over the last few days. I listened for about 12 hours over the period of a week. A Thorens TD-145 phonograph, a stereo tuner, and a simple CD player were used for testing. I tested the amplifier on 3 different sets of speakers: Wharfedale 60's, Polks, and Bose AM5 with cubes. A little bit of the old and new world. As shown in the photographs I have replaced a number of capacitors & tubes. You will be very happy with the performance of all functions. The 7591 tubes are Fisher brand There are no feet. This was housed in a custom console. The only problem I could find is that the phono/tape equilization switch make some noise when moving it. Of course, this would only happen when switching between phono and tape. No noise during phono or tape listening. Please contact me with any questions. Buyer pays shipping. Since I use new packing material and box for shipping I charge a materials fee of $6.00 to help cover expenses. The receiver will be well packaged in a large box - 28" x 20" x 18". If you have special shipping requirements please let me know prior to the end of the auction. The amplifier weighs about 28 pounds without a shipping box. Starting over the next few weeks I will be auctioning my excess audio inventory. This will include receivers, amplifiers, tuners, turntables, reel to reels, etc. - both solid state and tube. As with any vintage electronic equipment I cannot forever be responsible for its operation. Due to the nature of tube equipment I do not guarantee tube equipment. I have done my best to properly represent the present condition of the receiver. My feedback is an indication of my history and good intentions. Thank you.
